Dental Hygienist (RDH)

Position Summary
We are looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist who wants unhurried appointment times, modern equipment, and a team that treats hygiene as the clinical backbone of the practice rather than a production line. You will own your column, build long-term relationships with your patients, and have real input into how we deliver periodontal care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, and periodontal maintenance in accordance with the Minnesota Board of Dentistry scope of practice
- Complete comprehensive periodontal charting and risk assessment at appropriate intervals
- Expose, process, and evaluate diagnostic radiographs, including bitewings, periapicals, and panoramic images
- Perform oral cancer screenings and document findings
- Apply preventive agents including fluoride varnish and sealants
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal disease, and the connection between oral and systemic health
- Co-diagnose with the dentist and support clear, honest treatment presentation
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in Eaglesoft
- Follow all OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols, including instrument sterilization and operatory turnover
- Support recare and reappointment goals by scheduling patients before they leave the operatory
- Participate in weekly hygiene team meetings and contribute to protocol development
Required Qualifications
- Active Minnesota dental hygiene license in good standing
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Local anesthesia and nitrous oxide certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Working knowledge of periodontal classification and treatment planning
- Excellent chairside communication and patient education skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Eaglesoft practice management software
- Experience in a fee-for-service or non-PPO practice environment
- Comfort discussing treatment fees and financial arrangements with patients
- Familiarity with digital radiography and intraoral scanning

Patient Care Coordinator

Position Summary
The Patient Care Coordinator is the bridge between the clinical diagnosis and the patient saying yes. You will walk patients through recommended treatment, explain what it costs and why it matters, arrange financing, and follow up on unscheduled treatment so that no one falls through the cracks. This role suits someone who is warm, organized, and unafraid to talk about money.
Key Responsibilities
- Present treatment plans clearly and compassionately, translating clinical recommendations into plain language
- Prepare accurate treatment estimates and financial arrangements
- Coordinate third-party financing options and payment plans
- Verify dental benefits and explain coverage honestly, including the practice’s out-of-network position
- Track and follow up on unscheduled and incomplete treatment
- Support case acceptance goals through consistent follow-up and warm handoffs from the clinical team
- Manage new patient onboarding, paperwork, and first-visit experience
- Post payments, manage accounts receivable, and follow up on outstanding balances
- Maintain accurate patient records in Eaglesoft
- Support the front office team with phones and scheduling as needed
Required Qualifications
- Two or more years in a dental or medical front office, treatment coordination, or patient financial role
- Comfort discussing fees, balances, and financing with patients
- Working knowledge of dental terminology, CDT coding, and insurance benefit structures
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and follow-through
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a fee-for-service or non-PPO practice
- Eaglesoft experience
- Experience with case presentation training or scripting
